Water Efficiency Certificates Toowoomba

As a landlord in Queensland, unless you get a water efficiency certificate from a licensed plumber you’ll need to pay for your tenant’s water usage!

Becoming water efficient is simple. 

Arrange for a plumber to come to your property and they will check your compliance and give you recommendations of how to become water efficient if you aren’t already.

It is best to check your water devices such as showers, toilets and sinks before you get the plumber out to issue you a certificate, but we can also help you make the changes to become water efficient if you need.

To become water efficient you will need:  

• Water efficient devices	Minimum standard
  Internal cold water taps and single mixer taps (excluding bathtub taps and taps for appliances)	Max flow rate: 9L/min
  Shower head	Max flow rate: 9L/min
  Toilet/s	A dual flush function less than 6.5L on full flush and 3.5L on half flush
